This policy explains what personal data Wellnooz LLC (“Wellnooz”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use www.wellnooz.com, how we use it, and what rights you have. We handle personal data in accordance with applicable UAE law, including Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and, where applicable, Federal Law No. 2 of 2019 concerning the Use of Information and Communications Technology in Health Fields.
1. What we collect
Information you give us
- Your name, email address and mobile number when you submit an appointment request
- The condition or goal you searched for, and the therapy and wellness provider you selected
- Your preferred appointment date and time
- Any note you choose to add to your request
- Account details, if you create an account
Information we collect automatically
- Device and browser information, IP address, and pages viewed
- How you arrived at the site and how you use it
Health-related information
Please read this section carefully. When you search for a condition or submit an appointment request, you may tell us something about your health. We treat this as sensitive personal data.
- We collect only what is necessary to route your request to the wellness provider you have chosen
- We do not ask for, and you should not send us, detailed medical history, test results or clinical records
- We share this information only with the wellness provider you selected, so that they can contact you
- We do not sell health-related information, and we do not use it for advertising
2. Why we use your data
- To route your appointment request to the wellness provider you have chosen, so they can contact you to arrange an appointment.
- To confirm the outcome - we ask wellness providers to tell us whether an appointment was booked, so we can understand whether the service is working.
- To operate and improve the platform - understanding which conditions and therapies people search for, in aggregate.
- To communicate with you about your request, and, where you have agreed, about the service.
- To meet legal and regulatory obligations.
3. Who we share it with
The wellness provider you select
This is the core of the service. When you submit an appointment request, we send your name, contact details, chosen therapy, preferred timing and any note you added to the wellness provider you selected, so that they can contact you. We share your details only with the wellness provider you chose.
Once your details are with that wellness provider, their own privacy practices apply to how they handle your information. They are an independent licensed healthcare provider and are responsible for their own compliance.
Service providers
We use third parties to host the platform, send email and analyse usage. They act on our instructions and are bound to protect your data.
Authorities
We may disclose data where required by UAE law or by a competent authority.
4. What we never do
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share health-related information for advertising purposes.
5. Where your data is held
Personal data collected through Wellnooz is stored on servers located in the United Arab Emirates. Where any processing takes place outside the UAE, it is carried out in accordance with applicable UAE law and appropriate safeguards.
6. Your rights
Under UAE data protection law you may:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct data that is inaccurate
- Ask us to delete your data, where we are not required to keep it
- Withdraw consent you have given
- Object to certain processing, or ask us to restrict it
- Request your data in a portable format
- Complain to the competent UAE data protection authority
To exercise any of these, contact admin@wellnooz.com. We will acknowledge within five working days and respond within thirty days.
7. Security
We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data, including encryption in transit, access controls and monitoring. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified on the site and, where appropriate, by email.
